Alan A. Adler, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Adler is currently an Associate Professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.   Dr. Adler is the founding member of New York Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. and has been in private practice since 1993.

Dr. Adler received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University, and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Adler received his medical degree from New York University Medical School where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, and graduated as Valedictorian of his class.  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. 

Howard H. Kurtz, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kurtz is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 1999.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr.  Kurtz received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Kurtz received his medical degree from New York Medical College where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kurtz completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYU Medical Hospital Downtown.

Rachel L. Kassenoff, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kassenoff is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 2004.  She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Kassenoff received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis with a combined degree in Psychology and Biology.  She earned her medical degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from State University of New York at Brooklyn and was inducted into the national honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kassenoff completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she was a chief resident.

Alicia Carranza, M.D.

Dr. Carranza is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Carranza received her undergraduate and medical degrees in the eight year medical program at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology.

Lauren Cohen, M.D.

Dr. Cohen is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center West. Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree at Barnard College, Columbia University and her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Alicia Hernandez, M.D.

Dr. Alicia Hernandez is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Hernandez received her undergraduate degree at Duke University and her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.


Jennifer Walia, M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Walia is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Albany Medical Center and graduated from Albany Medical College. Dr. Walia received her undergraduate degree from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of New York.
