Alan A. Adler, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Adler is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.   Dr. Adler is the founding member of New York Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. and has been in private practice since 1993.

Dr. Adler received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University, and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Adler received his medical degree from New York University Medical School where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, and graduated as Valedictorian of his class.  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. 

Howard H. Kurtz, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kurtz is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 1999.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr.  Kurtz received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Kurtz received his medical degree from New York Medical College where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kurtz completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYU Medical Hospital Downtown.

Rachel L. Kassenoff, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kassenoff is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 2004.  She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Kassenoff received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis with a combined degree in Psychology and Biology.  She earned her medical degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from State University of New York at Brooklyn and was inducted into the national honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kassenoff completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she was a chief resident.

Julianne Biroschak, M.D.

Dr. Biroschak is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.  She earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and was inducted into the national honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Biroschak completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University Hospital, in Washington, D.C., where she received the Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the Superior CREOG Achievement Award.


Alicia Carranza, M.D.

Dr. Carranza is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Carranza received her undergraduate and medical degrees in the eight year medical program at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology.

Michelle Wallenstein, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Wallenstein is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  In addition to providing obstetric & gynecologic care, Dr. Wallenstein has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including laparoscopic, single incision and robotic surgery, advanced hysteroscopy, and in the treatment of women with uterine fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding and chronic pelvic pain.

Dr. Wallenstein received her undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Neuroscience Concentration.  She received her medical degree from Robert wood Johnson Medical School.  She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center, and completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at North Shore University Hospital.
