Alan A. Adler, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Adler is currently an Associate Professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.   Dr. Adler is the founding member of New York Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C. and has been in private practice since 1993.

Dr. Adler received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University, and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Adler received his medical degree from New York University Medical School where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, and graduated as Valedictorian of his class.  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. 

Howard H. Kurtz, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kurtz is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 1999.  He is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr.  Kurtz received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University and was inducted into the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Dr. Kurtz received his medical degree from New York Medical College where he was inducted into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kurtz completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYU Medical Hospital Downtown.

Rachel L. Kassenoff, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Kassenoff is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been in private practice since 2004.  She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Kassenoff received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis with a combined degree in Psychology and Biology.  She earned her medical degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from State University of New York at Brooklyn and was inducted into the national honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Kassenoff completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she was a chief resident.

Anupama Shah, M.D., FACOG 

Dr. Anupama Shah is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She previously served as Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU School of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She was a member of Lexington Ob-Gyn prior to joining our practice. Dr. Shah received her undergraduate degree Cum Laude with departmental honors, earning her B.A. in Anthropology, from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Shah completed her residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she received multiple teaching awards. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2009. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).

Jennifer Walia, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Jennifer Walia is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Albany Medical Center and graduated from Albany Medical College. Dr. Walia received her undergraduate degree from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of New York.


Ariella Nouriel, M.D.

Dr. Ariella Nouriel is currently a clinical instructor in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Nouriel graduated from Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.


Lisa Podolsky, M.D.

Dr. Lisa Podolsky completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She graduated from Florida International University Medical School, and received her undergraduate degree from the Tulane University.
